Marjorie and Claire were in Wigtown for the Book Festival at the end of September and along with the brilliant Hannah Lavery launched our latest Community Project book I Give My Word. Readers from across Scotland shared some of the work they created during this year’s Open Book Community Project in an online celebration of words. You can catch a recording of the event here.
Many of the pieces were responses to Hannah’s poem “Scotland You’re No Mine” which we got to hear Hannah read as part of her contribution to the event. The event was a wonderful conclusion to the work of the year and set us off with a spring in our step for our next Community Project.
